Stupid question, if everyone does this do we expect that these loans will still be available? Maybe it was the "best Decision of (YOUR) Life" but every time this happens it hurts these programs even more. Congratulations on a perf

There are chips on both sides of this board, is there a chance you could re-flow them off because of gravity on the other side of the board?

I've started several businesses over the years and they get to see the good and bad sides. I'm also very frank about mistakes I've made in my life and about things that went well. To me it's less about preaching and mo

I have six kids, my goal in life is to teach them to make good decisions. I always tell him to embrace originality in mistakes. Make them big, creative, interesting mistakes. Learn. Move on.

I lived most of my life in Los Angeles, having a car was a right of passage. I moved three years ago to New York City and I sold my car (finally) last year. It's amazing how liberating it is, no insurance, parking, gas, maintenance.

Clarke's third law: Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. If it feels like magic then you don't understand it well enough. I always push myself to understand the "magic". I've been at it for 30 years

Funny I read the title and thought: TVM but then realized it was the age old quest for time keeping and dreaming of ways to track it with reasonable sanity.. :-) Bonus points for anyone who knows what I mean by TVM and can describe why ever

Best part is the source is in a SHAR.. Wow that brought back memories. I doubt most people here even know what a SHAR is. The other day in a group of engineers at my work I made a joke about SHAR and NOBODY even knew what a SHAR was. It's l

I have a 254 column terminal :-) That said you will want to use code to analyze it.. You're very close..

Oh you are soooo close.. And I'm not offended at all. I like puzzles but I like this have some sort of relationship to real life if possible.. :)

If you are trying to say I created a puzzle only I can solve you would be wrong. I have someone who solved it but they're into protocol analysis and crypto.

No it's designed as a challenge not designed to be frustrating. Think of reasons you think you see cipher text in it.. And there is nothing 'armored' about this thing, it's so plainly in your face I'm stunned nobody had figured it out yet.

Updated to hopefully make it a bit clearer. Also there is an alternate challenge at izhack.com port 12346 but you can't read it in a browser. :)

See above for hits, it can be solved without any knowledge of the internal process used to display the free text.

A couple hints: 1) You most likely won't solve it in a browser 2) The actual text is NOT encrypted 3) It will take 4 to 5 connections together to solve the problem

Working on a number of "gateway" challenges for a client. Not sure if this is too hard with zero hints. It's so hard to measure when you're the one who created the puzzle. I came up with a couple solutions but again how do you separate the
