They also faced pressure during the pandemic to increase their margins like other companies were doing to price gouge. But of course that would do the same to their rep and is not where they make there money. Iirc 80% of profits are from me

I’m even ok with them changing terms, things happen. I just think companies should not be allowed to say “unlimited” unless it is actually 100% unlimited

I sincerely wish that any company that advertised unlimited and didn't actually allow unlimited X was penalized because it is straight up false advertising. unlimited data (but after 5tb we throttle you to 100kpbs) is not unlimited it

So in following the law vs being safe you say “follow the law and make the roads more dangerous” because… why?

Overbuilt roads aka “strodes”are real common in North America and as people tend to drive the speed they feel is correct not the limit it leads people to going faster and create unsafe situation. There’s a great not just bikes video on this

People tend to just ignore speed limits and drive at the speed they feel safe and comfortable. If you want people to drive slower you just design the road to slow them down.

No it is not. Distracted or impaired driving is the most dangerous aspect.

What is the trick? every 2-3 years Apple usually has hardware improvements motivating it. Is the trick just making better products? For me I got a 14 for upgraded GPS and satellite, no plans for a 15. My dad is on a 12 and my mom a 10 and t

“Punishing someone for theft or murder isn’t going to prevent that” Is basically the argument you’re making here. So I guess we shouldn’t have any punishment for any behaviour then eh?

It’s not the same? Trains are great for the environment and pack a lot of people into a small area. Roads and cars do not.

It’s not “more efficient” it’s just cheaper/more profitable for the shareholders. It’s awful for passengers. It’s bad for the environment (derailments), it is less then ideal for customers outside unit trains and drives them to trucks
