I guess that is just because SQL as a standard is not coherent nor something beatifully designed. SQL is mashup of vendor specific features all bashed togehter into one standard.

Very cool idea. Using VR for something that might actually help to expand the human knowledge. This provides researchers with the ability to work with molecules in a way that is good for people with visual and spatial thinking.
