This is wild, but I definitely see this being a thing. Already YouTube allows hiding like/dislike counts, and its used frequently when a company puts out a video that is overwhelmingly disliked, but people who are new to the content wo

Ugh yes. I was so excited to get driven around in one of the nicest cars on the market. I genuinely believed that uber was gonna have a ton of benzes on the road. I'm still kind of upset.

I think theres two possibilities that are believable for me. I dont think its 'aliens' or other extraterrestrials. Either it is completely fake, made up by the navy to hide something else that they wanted to cover up, and could a

Its smart. A lot of people didnt upgrade to the X, and the lower price makes it very appealing to get the 11. Apple tv+ seems like a great deal at only 5 dollars, and should attract tons of new customers, even though the service really does

Thinkpads are usually pretty solid, and I like the (relative) repairability compared to MacBooks. But I agree there are plenty of issues with stupid stuff on modern Lenovo machines and their qc needs to get better to justify their prices.

So what's actually going to happen? I'm still confused. Ridesharing drivers will now be paid wages, not based on the time that they have a passenger? Will the ridesharing service have to pay for the cars and their maintenance? Fro

honestly, the taste of alcohol is repulsive to me, but I enjoy drinking with friends. I find myself physically unable to drink hard liquor, and beer becomes tough after a couple drinks.

For real. I was in UK for a week, the mixed drinks over there are amazing. Had something called wkd, which is apparently regarded as a pretty trashy drink, but it tasted like fizzy gatorade, couldn't even tell it had alcohol in it.

Honest question: under which law? Does anything actually prohibit companies from employing people from going on forums and shilling? I think it's perfectly fine for the third party platform to have a policy forbidding this, but the gov

I use arch exactly for that reason, but I could not imagine getting started with arch as my first linux experience. You should at least learn the basics on ubuntu first. I think there's a good natural progression with linux, and that y

Stick with ubuntu. Arch has benefits, but most new users will do just fine without it, and arch can be a big pain to get running.
