If you're posting a bizdev email, I would just assume you would respond, even if it's with a "Sorry, we're heads down on other stuff" response. 3 weeks without a response makes me think they don't even bother reading it.

Does Dropbox ever check their bizdev email address? We've emailed them trying to partner, and our users would all be paying users. Guess they don't like revenue.

Considering one of the first rounds of money that a startup takes is usually friends & family, I would suggest not sacrificing them. You can maintain a healthy social life, or marriage, or keeping in touch with family, and still succeed

Fred Wilson has had spelling mistakes or simply used the wrong word in some instances on his blog - I don't think you can really use it as an accurate measure.

I've always believed in the power of a nap when you start losing focus or are stumped on a particular problem. I've put a futon in my office for that exact purpose.
