I'm sick of this lie, mostly parroted by people that haven't touched frontend in their life, or who do frontend but betted too early on technlogy that never got traction. It feels like it's just an excuse to pick on frontend.

Not in my experience with JavaScript. You have a large common denominator (including libraries), and only a few specific things that don't work in browser (like filesystem) that still work serverside anyways.

Something tells me a conspirator wouldn't be required anyways. Your security is either sound or broken, i.e. probably broken unless you use proven implementations of proven cryptosystems with proven configurations. E.g. even if RSA is

I'd say the other way around: Rust is manually accounted (you have to take it into consideration when coding) while the compiler automatically manages it for you.

You can render SVG with foreign HTML+CSS to a canvas[1]. I did that in one of my apps (guitar fretboard diagram generator) to render PNGs from my dynamic React components. Worked like a charm! [1] https://developer.mozilla.org&#x

Not to mention a SEGFAULT in Rust is a bug in Rust the language/std, not your program (unless you're writing unsafe code, which is pretty much never).

That's a personal choice and, even then, you really can't be sure. Someone might be a Dem in public and vote Rep in the privacy of the booth. I'm sure this happens a lot more than you think.

Honestly, a very naïve solution. I tried formalizing the protocol but there are so many inconsistencies. E.g. the ephemeral key is mentioned briefly... Who generates this key? Who encrypts the message? What's the purpose? Critique of t
