Similar to this, a while ago I made this online playground (Lambda Musika) where you can program sound realtime in your browser (using JS) in a functional-ish way: https://lambda.cuesta.dev/ (repo: https://github

I assume those are probably very hard to fix since (again, I assume, I'm just a hobbyist in the hardware space) that sort of glitch relies on propagation delays (e.g. a short burst triggering some latches but not others, or triggering

Interesting! Will give it a try. I like how you properly used useSyncExternalStore and AbortController for signaling. Always a good sign seeing good use of APIs. (EDIT) Quick question: will computed values be lazy and cached? I'm wor

Something being "enough" doesn't mean it's optimal. There's a huge stack of tools that speak HTTP semantics out of the box; including the user agent, i.e. the browser (and others), but also stuff like monitoring too

Many people against Go's error handling do not advocate for exceptions, but for a combination of an Either/Result type (for recoverable errors) and fully aborting (for unrecoverable errors).

This isn't actually about removing the promise (completion) listener, but the fact that promises are not cancelable in JS. Promises in JS always run to completion, whether there's a listener or not registered for it. The event loo
