How do deterministic builds address exploits compiled into the compiler itself?

Almost no one would use that definition. Calling someone a mean name would be an act of violence. Violence implies physical effort of some kind and not intent- ie, both storms and people can be violent.

An open stack is not enough because you can't trust any compiled software. In practice, even if we had a completely open stack and no binaries, we can't even begin to write error free code. Defeating the NSA [via software], a bi

Check out http://atom.io/docs/api/v0.60.0/api/ . I've played around a bit in the beta. Debugging with the webkit inspector is nice.

In practice, the ST3 API is extremely limiting and poorly implemented. The docs are both lacking and dated (read incorrect). It is trivial to crash ST3 by making the incorrect sequence of correct API calls. It is also common to resort to

Bram shows no interest in these sorts of things. Frequently, devs post to the vim mailing with a month or two of work on some new feature with no comment from the BDFL.

The difference would be from about 5% to perhaps 15%. There should be a damn good reason to make this happen (you wanted the person as a founder at the start, but external forces kept it from happening). A bad first hire can sink your com

No citation is needed for an unactionable assertion. Do you really believe in the entire history of every web page ever, this is untrue? The statement was more or less tantamount to use metrics to make decisions.

Few run it in production for real projects. The schism causes people to jump ship to other languages. Have you tried to maintain code that is python2/3 compatible. Its a fucking nightmare (strictly worse than python3 not existing).
