I respectfully don't really understand your point, you think there's a conspiracy to publicly falsify evidence and influence the public? That would have caused immediate problems at trial if each company made such bold false state

What an eyesore, I would hate to have lived in a town where that monstrosity was the one thing dominating the skyline.

It's in the official waymo statement and was pretty easy to find: https://blog.waymo.com/2019/08/a-note-on-our-lawsuit-against... "Recently, we received an unexpected email. One of our suppliers speciali

I've tried this and other libraries like Faker and in my experience it's not worth it for anything besides maybe testing design mockups. When a project is small, I learned I might as well just launch early and test with real data.

For those wondering what the mission of this project is: "Our primary intent is to put alt-text on your radar (if it wasn’t already), to get you thinking about it creatively, and to explore a few of the key questions that come up when

The equations are well integrated in the article and matches the font of the article very well. I thought it was some special font+math library but just turned out to be Georgia and MathJax with tasteful design choices.

It's hard to not respect the devotion and love Rustaceans give to Rust.

Cool project! I think the calendar interface linking to individual PDFs is kinda odd though. Why not just list it all in sequence on one html page?

He was so brazen in using identical schematic and suppliers. It amazing to think all this is a result of the supplier getting confused from having two clients with identical schematics and accidently cc'ing the wrong engineers.

Redis is one of those things that deceptively looks like it would be easy to build in the eyes of a beginner engineer but in reality is a great technical achievement.

A question for an Entomologist - how does the woolly adelgid insect kill so many trees so quickly? They look so small and cute, is it from sucking too much sap from trees?

Nice job, it's unusual to see Python-based music tools. I think this would be a good opportunity to use two intertwined snakes as the logo.

If you have any interest in human-centered architecture or design in general, Pattern Language and The Nature of Order are worth reading. They're not quick reads that you can easily summarize though.

Getting a cheap bumpkey and learning how to use it on your own door can save you lots of trouble the next time you lock yourself out of your place. I hide one in the bushes.

I was excited to see at least some AE features in the browser or more-than-beginner type editing -- but it's more akin to iMovie or a basic templated editor? Impressive nevertheless for one person to bootstrap, congrats.

The reason the author flat out didn't consider SQLAlchemy’s alembic seems incorrect? Don't most people simply use a local testing db, generate migrations on that test db then just perform the upgrade on prod if it looks good inste
