   The two versions that you give do not return the same thing. the FP one returns a list, while the imperative one returns a number

   What jQuery could have done with those server-rendered apps, Vue could always do better. jQuery is just bad because of its DOM mutation paradigm. You can totally use Vue with any MVC, no need to convert to SPA style

   To me it's Elixir. My company is a PHP shop, which results in complicated OOP stuffs (from most junior devs), as well as the inability to take advantage of concurrency. The syntax of PHP makes me sick just to look at.

   If an app can be installed the same way a "native" app does, it is a native app. Users do not care about the technology behind the scene and what they are called.
