Yes, they really took time to fake so. I encourage engineers to try and build a decentralised app on it.

Crypto would enable inbuilt content use payment system if the user wants to pay, and reap additional benefits - freemium model Industries wont be monopolized cause forking and launching decentralised code would be free and instant.

You made such a long comment and could not name one thing that ethereum can do but bitcoin cannot. People using that decentralised exchange have either lost money during the ethereum forks (or haven't because oasisdex is not really dec

There is not a single use-case that this code can achieve, which you couldn't before the invention of bitcoin. Blockchains are just linked lists; without proof-of-work its useless.

No the payment provider doesn't trust you; you gave them your identity and perhaps more as collateral. My point was that even if one wants to use a decentralized system we do not need the security that bitcoin's mining provides be

There are scaling solutions like lightning network being built and the blocks are not full. Also for a cup of coffee you don't need so much security so go use litecoin or something, why not.

A note is clearly a proof-of-work currency concept. As stated, it takes months of work on expensive hardware. Anyone with better/more equipment can beat them but it requires an investment in a field where they have a huge headstart.
