It's not a cold war per default, when a country refuse to do what the US demands. This is just a conflict of interest. Syria is in Russia's backyard, so of course they'll have opposing viewpoints. Snowden and Wikileaks moved

There are bike paths everywhere here in Copenhagen, so they're quite safe. Plus they are fairly common, so most cars and fellow cyclists know what to expect. Quite handy when picking up the kids, fetching groceries or whatever.

In Denmark all education is free. All. You'll even receive a small check every month for your trouble. Admission is based solely on grades, not money. On of the few things we actually got right, imo.
