I think the web part is now "log in with your wallet, fetch account state from the blockchain". It all happens on the normal web and the blockchain access is facilitated by "normal" web API gateways like Infura or Cloudf

I don‘t think that is the case across the board. I‘ve certainly heard of Privatinsolvenz. But you might not be able to claim this for business related debts (which should be covered by your limited liability cooperation in theory)?

Well you could run it as a sort of rendering layer in front of your backend, and talk to your phoenix app on an internal API or local socket. May not be worth it though. Unlike next, I don‘t think you can even run this as SPA only. I think

I feel like part of the reason may be that people really like react-three-fiber, and svelte needs to show that it can do that too. If someone is looking for "how do I 3d with svelte" it‘s nice to have a defintive answer instead of

If this is just Next.js with nested routes, it‘s already worth it. Seems like they have a bit more going on with progressive enhancement and interaction support, but nested routes are the headline for me.

For no good reason whatsoever. Because I am the kind of nerd that has on old copy of the Apple Human Interface Guidelines on their bookshelf and VS Code is leagues above any well designed editor for TS.

I am using home grown feature flags, so in a way I know what they are. Where I sometimes feel like I’m doing something wrong is when they are mentioned as some silver bullet for complex deployment scenarios or real safety for testing in pro

In theory, I prefer to keep extensions to a minimum to keep UX and performance light. In practice I am using 3 different extensions and a bunch of custom CSS to make vscode look like Xcode. It‘s all superfluous though. I think "project

Feels like a good chunk of OSS development is happening in germany. By some accounts, the entirety of linux is being ruined by one german. The biggest software companies like SAP are maybe not shining examples, but when you go lower, there‘

The hardest working people are living paycheck to paycheck. Inflation, as long as it doesn‘t go hyper, is not a major concern. The only thing normal inflation seriously devalues is resting on your hard work for way to long.

Inflation on their savings is really the least of most poor people‘s problems. Exactly what‘s funding wars is also funding social welfare and public goods and services. But It‘s cool that you and everyone else in this will be super rich whe

That sounds about as nonsensical as saying "If you don‘t draw your own icons I don't think you can call yourself a professional developer". Very few developers actually do both of those things. If you said "If you couldn

Yeah sure, but that‘s all added on by other parties. As far as I know, the layers above VISA/MC are diverse enough (not a duopoly). If that‘s true you could rely on the market to drive down fees if it‘s profitable.

Well for workers these questions can be answered more straightforward than for lambda: Will a node/C thing work? No. Only third party packages that are cleanly isomorphic will work. The most exciting thing you get is fetch. You can com

I like the database-to-component binding idea. If you squint, that‘s what a GraphQL/React app simulates (with mountains of boilerplate). I‘m not so sure about moving up the level of abstraction in the direction of no code tools. You ca
