Sure, it isn't really the whole product, but I interpreted it as an exaggeration, meaning that easy onboarding would be very essential part of the product and which is the first thing users experience.

This reminds me... Anyone interested in spy stuff should check out The Bureau (2015). It's an excellent spy series and also a nice change in style compared to the usual Hollywood productions.

I didn't find it contradictory. The first one is about how to start learning about something more easily and the second one about how to organize it all so that it's easier to use and understand as a whole. That may also help with

But parent said what if there is no issue with it. Time and effort are no issue if it's a hobby you enjoy. Quite the opposite. You're probably saying that it can be a slippery slope but that can be said about anything if it turns

Personally, I don't think it's anything unfixable. At least slow joins with large rooms got improvements last year or something. E2EE is nowadays on by default, and I haven't had any decryption issues recently, but E2EE is no

I have had similar experiences, but not on professional context. Random E2EE key issues (not often) that maybe sometimes resolve themselves or with some additional action like bringing all clients online. Matrix is still the best choice for

You don't know what I'd pay. So can you name any popular services that offer that option? To add, there are estimations about how much ad money average user generates and it's very much affordable

They probably still track you even if you paid money, so that makes paying less enticing. And it's prudent to assume so unless they clearly state otherwise

Right, their reasoning in 5 and 6 sounded like the point is to just appear like an engineer. It may be enough for the ad guy, but I don't think it's strictly what the engineer wants. IMO, it relates to the previously made point th

Are you saying Fukushima had none or less than modest harmful effects? I don't know what the parent meant, but the whole Fukushima disaster management and clean up will take decades and people had to leave their homes. To add, I agree

A decent standard library very much makes sense even with sane package managers and registries. Just look at JS. It's awful that you need to hunt for packages for simple stuff (or implement yourself). Stdlib is usually straightforward

Contractors VR (a MP FPS game) has Kowloon as one of the stock maps. It'd be fascinating if it'd be modelled after some real location. Maybe it is, I don't know.

If feature Y is incomplete, then sharing a feature branch (which sounds like a road to a messy commit history) doesn't change that. You could also use the unmerged feature branch Y temporarily as a base for X if you need some code from
