I don't understand how they can just withdraw after an attempt at settlement but before the decision was made. Seems to me like all 41 should be on the hook for those legal fees.

The DAO, ultimately, is a human construct and subject to human laws. Just because you write a something in code and do a bit of hand waving, it doesn't mean that contract law, etc, magically ceases to exist.

It was a cool movie. But the direction and acting were both pretty terrible. You could tell that the humans were standing in front of green screens. It really failed at immersion.

In fact, they are in competition, Interac is trying to keep things like Visa Debit out if the country. My bank card now is both an Interac card and a Visa Debit card. But the Visa Debit part work anywhere except online US retailers.
