Being unprofessional about it in a way that brings reputational (and by extension financial) damage to the business is fireable, yes.

Why is so much of your app gatekept behind a subscription when nearly all other GPS apps allow preferences set for free? Why not a one-time purchase? It just feels kinda odd to force someone to pay to plan to be more sustainable.

How does it measure up against something like MongoDB?

by kadomony 3y ago
They already did that. 720. No one really wants to watch lower than that.

He is doing exactly that! It's not as unique as Attenborough's voice, but it's nice to see every video being reuploaded slowly. He's even taken feedback from the previous videos into consideration to "remaster"

I don't believe it was intended to be satirical. The depth of worldbuilding and lore in Warhammer affords an immense opportunity for Games Workshop to actually do some kind of series like what was created with Attenborough's liken

Same. When I logged into YouTube and saw "Scholar's Lore", my heart sunk and I immediately knew what had come to pass. Attenborough is fiercely protective of his voice.

Given the Attenborough Lore channel for Warhammer received a cease and desist, you can bet that his legal team will be busy suing the shit out of people like this.

Ah, I misinterpreted the top comment, then. I thought this was a strategic move on their part to salvage trust elsewhere. You're right; this is like pulling the rug out from under guests you invited into your home and telling them to s

CMO terminated the same day, so I'm assuming their marketing department largely was gutted as well while they figure out how to rebuild their image. It looks like they're taking the route of just focusing on enterprise customers,

What trust did they break exactly? Genuinely naive here. Did they woefully underdeliver on their cloud offering's promises?

What do people think about MongoDB's search offering and its pivot into vectors?

Came here to say this. Glad I'm not alone. This seems like such an odd investment to make given the development community's near-universal hatred for Jira/Confluence.

A bit bummed to see this. As someone who detests the design of slides in Microsoft/Google platforms, Paste was a great experience when building out quick and dirty decks for pitching ideas or sharing summaries. Does anyone know if ther

I guess it’s more a matter of how would you feel if you debuted something and another person piled on their own competition. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe it’s me, but I would have just made this a core expansion of Instagram and had a photo feed and a thread feed that you can easily change between. Pick your default. Seems dumb to have two different apps, both branded “Instagram”.

Interesting to see if companies will be slapped back to reality away from their DEI bullshit that hires lesser qualified individuals simply because of their levels of melanin.
