you don't have to trust software, but you have to trust your firmware and hardware.

the hardware is made by asus, asus signs with their key backed by a trusted company. asus gives out keys to sign bios firmware, now aliexpress can not only counterfeit, but provide tampered hardware. you can enroll your own secure boot keys

that defeats the point, having the "keys" allows malicious actors to perform the same kind of attacks... trust is protected by trusted companies... certificate companies sell trust, not certificates.

They're A/B testing on the latest opus model, sometimes it's good sometimes it's worse than sonnet annoying as hell. I think they trigger it when you have excessive usage or high context use.

this is just wrong, I have several 3x x20 accounts running full tilt hitting limits every week I did get few accounts banned, but that's because my proxy was leaking nginx headers.

I mean I think this is okay I can't do math in my head at all and it hasn't stopped me from solving mathematical problems. You might not be able to write code, but you are still the primary problem solver (for now). I have actuall

opus is currently the only one that can code rust, but if you give it symbol resolution there is quite literally nothing better. The type system in rust is incredibly powerful and llms are great (just opus for now) at utilizing it.

I don't know if I missed something, but this CVE isn't that major as it was suggested to be? For one it had to originate from app.opencode.com and even if it didn't most (good) browsers block websites from probing localhost.

I remember when I was defending openai for still being relatively open because they are not gatekeeping tech advancements made in model training or inference, but their patent count is shooting up and I am sure the next revolution they will

read only user? seems trivial? but the AI agent can just use the app to execute writes then it's a no-win situation. Give it a database that is a copy of production data instead - problem solved.

Everyone goes on and on how "anthtropic has the right to do this", sure, we also have the right to work around these blocks and fight against behavior that uses their position to create a walled garden and vendor lock-in using ant

I always liked the idea having relationship based programming (graph programming), but with actual code. Never actually made the effort to make something like that. Pretty neat either way.

given that gemini 3 pro is presumably a relatively small model it wouldn't be too surprising to see an even more optimized model fit into latest iphones. I wish we knew the data behind gemini 3 flash because if my estimation that it&#x

ok this might sound crazy, but at first I completely missed the joke because it automatically rearranged the entire sentance into udp packets walked into a bar. I wonder how that works psychologically.

GPL can be considered like a virus, something based on GPL licensed code (unless explicitely excluded by the license) is now GPL licensed so the 'injected' training data becomes GPL licensed which means that created model weights

I mean okay sure, there is no legal framework for tokenizers, but what about the rest of the model I think there is a much stronger argument there? And you could realistically extend the logic that if the model is GPL-2.0 licensed you have
