As a python dev my mind is kinda blown that php didn't have keyword arguments yet. Especially with the current trend of using kwargs exclusively for better code quality and readability.

I'll disagree with you here. In Python `*` is already a extremely popular symbol for expanding and there's no usage conflict between expand and numeric multiplication. This change gels really nicely with the rest of expand ecosyst

As I python dev I feel kinda the opposite: rust is surprisingly pretty with the exception of massive overuse of shift key to the point where I'd consider it a health hazard. The only other low-level language that is pretty that I found

Unfortunately majority of big breaches like this are a result of social hacking rather than some computer science magic. However to answer your question of how much you'd actually need to know? Decent networking and system understandin

I think you underestimate the value of this hack — it's really safe. BTC is transparent but pretty safe and easy to launder compared to messing with stocks which would draw so much heat that it's very likely you'd get caugh

Currently their earned BTC balance is $120k+ for comparison. That's a pretty successful scam and 5% of potential revenue will not make anyone go white hat.

Hilariously I hadn't even heard any of the things listed and I even went through the whole subnet! I think if anything this website is a good illustration of how IP =/= person and should never be assumed it is.

Apple has the most impressive astro-turfing service out there. It's honestly scary impressive. Most of Apple's issues seem to be erased from the history of the internet and people's memories. Do you remember iPad naming memes

I'm not sure where are you from initially but I think it's a flaw with english language itself. There are just too few words to describe relationships in english, everything is very binary, e.g. You either love someone or you don&

When I found out that local delivery service here is charging around 30% fee my mind was blown. I asked my friend who owns a small restaurant how he puts up with it and he basically said he has no choice, especially during covid. This made

I'll go ahead and say it's probably such an extremely rare occurrence that I highly doubt some sort of forum is required here. Why an exclusive community about this subject necessary? This topic is not prohibited on /r/o

Is discourse regarding trans-gender really necessary though? It seems something a bunch of spoiled elitist bigots would discuss as their way to express distaste for plebs and pretends it's some sort of philosophical debate. Someone

That's a bit of a stretch. On play store permission bombing is so prevalent and no one is installing any apps with less than 4 stars so I doubt the "malware" makes enough money to sustain this.

This seems such a "flat earth" type of hypothesis. I mean viruses depend on their hosts 100% so them coming from somewhere with no hosts and successfully slotting in with new hosts just seems immeasurably unlikely.

Sure but should all these be part of browsers UX not the website itself? Maybe we should be pushing browsers to have better UX on-boarding and teaching people that home button will scroll you up to the top of the page etc.
