Yeah, Ikaruga was a classic. For very traditional "bullet hell" stuff, I recommend you start with the Touhou Project (a million games, all of them are essentially the same thing). I've also been playing a lot of Jamestown lately. Unfortunat

I actually found a spot just off-center almost at the bottom of the screen where you can't get hit by any of the boss shot patterns. Finding it almost instantaneously, I just realized I play way too many bullet hell shmups. Otherwise, great

Unfortunately, I don't have time to read all seven pages of this article, but what I did read seems awfully sensationalist. Not only does Foxconn make products for a whole host of other tech companies (as others have pointed out), but aren'

It actually does seem pretty likely that someone else--Yahoo, Microsoft, who knows--and use Firefox to their advantage in some way. But yeah, I don't see Google renewing the deal.

I thought this was just a talent grab. I don't think the actual Gowalla service is going to be merged into Facebook.

Good question. I've only just started to try and follow the more relevant people in the industry. At the time being, I've just followed a couple people that have had good blog posts I've seen posted on HN. That mixed in with a couple of my

It just seems to me like the author of this article isn't technologically inclined and owns an iPhone and/or iPad. Really none of the "advantages" (other than a larger music store) of iTunes Match aren't advantages when using an Android dev

Unless I'm misinterpreting this, it looks like Google has managed to write what is essentially a third-party iPad browser and get it accepted into the App Store. They've even got a Chrome OS like page for apps. Am I missing something here,
