I'd like to nitpick that "magnitudes" depends on your base. Base 10 is commonly used, though base e is probably more accurate. So if 33/e^2 == 4.46 incidents happen, I'd probably call it "magnitudes". 4 ye

You completely misread the point. We don't know the truth, if it was foul play or not. Probably not. BUT, it doesn't matter about the size of the jump, yet the fact that it's even a POSSIBILITY THAT WE HAVE TO CONSIDER ... is

Because history repeats itself, and you should learn from history. Joan of Arc stood for France, in the Hundred Year's War. The story was not about her, it was about the country, the people. But yet, her narrative, the ideas she had, h

To be fair to the quants, you need a serious knowledge of CS for some of the algos. That probably speaks against the probability that Satoshi is a wall street guy, though, if his coding is amateur.

What's the point of this post? It's a link to a forum discussion that's been gone over a million times, 10 years ago, let alone now. Both python and PHP are very mature, backend languages for web development. This subject might have been de

Well, no. To people, a pastebin.com/asdovnasdofnvopdsisadvasdfgv link is just as unmemorable as a base64 encode of an actual 1kb code data. However, nowadays, if I have a 1kb snippet I want fairly securely shared, sticking it in a chat box

"Coordinated effort" means very little when anything going organically viral would produce the same results. To draw conclusions of conspiracy when the only evidence is a large number of views/posts/downvotes is irresponsible.
