I think this says less about supernovas and a lot more about how staggeringly, incomprehensibly vast the observable universe it.

I like this! One note: I think the README would also benefit from having a (crowdsourced?) list of providers that offer (or will soon offer) Docs as a hosted offering. Many users of collaborative editing tools aren't sophisticated enou

Q: Can I use this if I work at a Microsoft Teams enterprise org? Probably not, I'm guessing, but hoping there's a way to make that work somehow.

In OP's case it sounds like they do get compensated with the day off, which is PTO. It's not a trade everyone would make but an extra day off into a long weekend is one I would have taken earlier in my career.

The idea of the "world debt level" being alarming doesn't make a lot of sense to me. There isn't anyone else we _could_ owe money to, right? I'm not educated enough in global finance to have a useful opinion in this

Unclear on that first point. The authors claim 26 MPa for CoRncrete, which is about the same as the higher end of the range of concrete (~28 MPa) but much cheaper. On the other hand, it sounds like the paper's saying it's also muc

Thank you for the pointers! On your third bullet, when you say "versus channels" are you also saying "don't use channels at all" or are you saying "when using chats, use @everyone but don't do that in chan

I think it's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" thing. If you make the law sweeping, businesses will complain it's an infringement of big government. If you make the law targeted, businesses will complain the

I was just thinking this. You'd either need to special-case your debuggers or be able to use something that provided bespoke hooks for pointer-following.

Not all of the building needs to be direct residential; for example, I could definitely imagine some light retail, a computer lab, a tool library, an indoor track, a gym, et cetera.

All life seeks to explore, because adaptation is essential to continued survival. Mars is a laboratory for us to see if we can thrive outside our home world. If there's two things the universe teaches us, it's that (1) our little

The Walmart folks are pretty bright in general. I did some consulting for them a while back so I saw this first-hand. Organizations aren't monoliths, of course, but my experience was that they definitely did know what they were doing.
