The frequency sensitivity curve of rods is different from reach of the cone types, too. If some rods contribute to daylight vision, then everyone is tetrachromatic to some extent.

If Rust is widely adopted, and if this commit adds a kilobyte to every language and every library downloaded by everyone, would the fun for the author be worth it?

Consider the bizspark program for msdn licenses. I agree that MSVC is an awesome IDE and debugger, except for creation 2002 which was terrible. The more tools you know well, the wider are your options for each problem you want to solve. Vim

If VoIP actually used the capability to deliver higher call quality, that would be one thing. But these services almost universally sound like vocoder compressed noise in an echo tunnel. They're as bad as cell phones, and have as much

I think we got to this point over a year ago. 3D printers are the new "I can build you a home page on the web." Printrbot has had a good $300 FDM solution for a long time; to get significantly better, you really need SLS or Resin

Why is it a problem if legitimate email costs $0.01? If it's not even worth that to you, perhaps it's not so "legitimate" after all. (Organization internal mail doesn't need to pay itself) The main casualty would be

The math is well known, and many libraries exist. I bet you could replace the OS X and Mac hardware with more cost effective hardware and software with an engineering effort in the low man years, if not less. Which would presumably pay back

There is lots of undefined behavior that causes crashing, although usually of the target program, not the compiler. Crashing compilers is nothing new though. I can't count how many ICEs I used to run into in certain versions of certain

$2500 for a mobile developer job in Tokyo? Does that even pay for taxes and rent and food? The going rate in the bay area (also expensive) is about 4x that. Why would anyone with mobility choose Japan then? (Other than as a language immersi
