I'm in Herriman. I almost bought a house in Lehi :) I currently commute to Downtown Salt Lake for work though. It's about a 30-35 minute drive for me in either direction.

As a developer here I'm constantly getting contacted by recruiters. I live half way between Salt Lake and Provo so I can go either direction, but there definitely is a lot going on in the tech industry here.

Many people make plans, few carry them out. You posted that March 21, 2012. Now, 1 year and 4 months later, someone apparently independently created a similar logo and is actually doing something with it, not just planning to do so. If you

I think charging for search in general is going to be their downfall. There are so many search engines these days that without bringing something truly revolutionary to the table, you'll be hard pressed to get much notice even offering

That's a gross over-generalization of youth. Age alone does not tell you anything about intelligence, experience or the likelihood of making mistakes. There may be a general correlation, but it is not causation. You may have a 20-year-

As I mentioned in the beginning of my article, that's what I did. It took me about 30-40 minutes to get to school in the mornings. I had classes from 8am-1pm. Another 50 minutes or so to get to work. I would then work until about 10pm.

You missed the point of the post. It wasn't about how I don't like people telling me to do something I don't see the value in. It was about people dogmatically asserting the necessity of a process which has been fed to us by

This kind of makes it sound like you have a very limited variety of experience programming. Two things: 1) Race conditions exist with any sort of asynchronous or concurrent software development, even when there is no parallelism or threadin
