As someone who recently had to do some work on a project running node 0.12, you are not wasting your time. (I can’t even use destructuring assignments, because JS didn’t have them back then. -_-)

Canadian cars use KPH because they’re required to by law. My Canadian Hyundai showed the temperature in F when it was new off the lot and every time I disconnect the battery, and there’s a crazy secret set of button pushes I have to do in

Yes, but there’s no first amendment in Canada. There’s the Charter of Rights and Freedoms at the federal level, and the Charte des droits et libertés de la personne at the provincial level.

All of The Expanse audiobooks were narrated by Jefferson Mays, except for the third book where they got some other guy to do it. Fans were so upset by this that they basically forced the company making to audiobooks to re-record the whole

I have a number of friends who, a decade ago, jumped down the super woke rabbit hole. They’re quite far from academia - in fact the one thing that ties most of them together is that they didn’t bother going to university and then spent a l

The thing is though, at least in the US and Canada, the law explicitly says you can swap out parts in your car with third party parts, and auto makers are not allowed to void your warranty. A heated seat is really just a coil in the seat yo

Welllll… “works right now” is perhaps an overly strong assertion when it comes to day.js. I was working on a library we use for parsing "schedules" (like, alarm turns on at 9:00pm on Thursday, and off again at 7:00am on Friday).
