Aren't you confusing things here? The music on the YouTube video is described as: a modified template of "Gain" used with permission from DETUNE ltd. denkitribe http://soundcloud.com/denkitribe/gain - I created this arrangement on the

I think you both mean "retroactive" instead of "retrospective". But whatever, that isn't the heart of the issue here.

I do, but I'm not an engineer. My brother does too and he actually is an engineer, though. I guess it depends. I've noticed I'm more prone to nervously shake my legs (usually one at a time) when I'm being overly creative.

It does indeed. Thank you. I guess the page could have been a little more teaser-y, so that I'm not lost into thinking it was closer from release than it is. :) I wish you well!

Well, your position on privacy is good and all and I appreciate it. But what does it do? I know the test counts my emails, contacts and all, but what does it do to make it more efficient? I follow the "inbox zero" dogma, and as such my inbo

Indeed. Will have I easy access to my data when the service is eventually sunset? Does it work on iOS/Android? Those are the questions a service has to answer for it to leave its mark, IMO.

That kind of article doesn't appeal to me. I've been using both Pocket and Kippt, as well as Evernote. What does your product bring that those three don't? I feel like you should have shared your homepage instead (i.e. http://www.dragdis.c

Apparently, people still use bookmarks. I stand corrected. I've not used bookmarks for years, literally. I even tried to use GReader, Delicious and Kippt but I can not wrap my head around bookmarks. Instead, my "bookmarks" are my history, m

You mean you have the good taste to not actually have Comic Sans on your system. That, my good sire, is something to be proud of. :)

Looks great! I have no other suggestion -- that was not already posted here already -- other than handling unread comments. I use hckrnews.com and its Google Chrome extension to keep track of comments, and it's insanely great.

Because platforms like Hacker News and Reddit are far better tools for commenting on a subject than any comment system will ever be on a blog. SSO, threaded comments, reputation/karma/pruning, etc. are features that seldom exist on blogs.

I'll try that tonight when I have access to my Mac (remote-debugging with dev tools). Until then, I can tell you approximately that the DNS shakeup takes 5 seconds, the server/CDN shakeup takes 1 more and the loading/painting is near-instan

It is extremely difficult to deal with this issue on the developer's side. My solution has been to embed the font in the format the most commonly used directly into the CSS. Then I Gzip it and put it on a CDN. My blog now loads under 200ms

I would be interested in seeing this turned into a true Google Chrome extension. I always seem to miss who's replying. In a sense it's great since we are treated as equals, but I sometimes miss a great reply by pg and others.

It is indeed extremely user unfriendly at the start. You have to spend a god awful amount of time setting everything up, but in the end it's worth it IMHO. I've been blogging for 3 years now with Jekyll, and typically my "new post workflow"

I've stopped using a Windows PC in 2004, and as far as I remember this was already pretty common at the time. I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but I remember Nero or similar software coming with such a crap too. We, geeks and nerds, quic

Whoa, prejudice much? I'm an Apple fan and I don't restlessly bash others about their phones. If anything, there is as much fanboyism going on on the other side, and probably more given the user base.
