3 hours sounds like something is wrong. On my Pixel 7 Pro I currently have 5.5 hours of screen time with 40% battery left. Not as good as an iPhone, but certainly good enough to get through a day with charge remaining.

Android's Messages app does this. RCS isn't end-to-end encrypted, but Messages adds the Signal protocol on top. https://www.gstatic.com/messages/papers/messages_e2ee.pdf

That reversed in ~2016. Because Android Studio was based on IntelliJ and heavily staffed (including Blaze support for development of Google's own Android apps), TPTB decided that they should put their weight behind IntelliJ instead of

As I posted elsewhere, Seattle has about 30 standard chain grocery stores within city limits and all are owned by Albertsons or Kroger. The rest are smaller operations, boutiques like like Trader Joe's, or higher-priced like Whole Food

The effects are local, though. The existence of Walmarts somewhere doesn't affect people living in Seattle, for instance, since there are no Walmarts within the city. We have 16 Kroger-owned stores (QFC and Fred Meyer), 15 Albertsons-o

Dynamic DNS as others have mentioned. Or, many ISPs will provide static IPs for an additional cost, but you may need to switch to their business service.

This looks similar to some Bazel rules I'm working on. I'm also using the approach of defining target environments up front [1], but the main difference is that I'm currently offloading the actual resolution process to Poetry

1. Make uses mtime to determine whether inputs have changed. Bazel uses a hash of all inputs to the target (file contents + other inputs like environment variables) 2. Make lets you define inputs and outputs, but doesn't enforce them.

Not OP, but we start small postgres instances in our Python tests with some py.test fixtures. The actual postgres binaries are provided by Bazel, so nothing relies on outside installations. I posted this gist a while ago: https://

Ah, got it. Well as far as I know, proto2 (with required) isn't going anywhere and Any can still be used with it. One nice thing about protobuf is its extensibility, so you can still get required fields with something like protoc-gen-v
