The latter does happen at Google at least. But it requires tooling to reliably make the change (monorepo-aware refactoring tools, basically), and tooling to run all affected tests. Such large changes at Google are often accompanied by a doc

Are you looking for hypotheticals? Maybe a person has no financial safety net and has a sick family member at home that requires all of their time outside of work, leaving none for a job search.

Mine only has the single trigger, but also has two limit switches at either side (it's a screw drive). I figured out that by flipping the limit switches I can control the direction of the door using just the single trigger button. E.g.

20+ years ago when I flew models as a kid, the various clubs all required an AMA membership and a certain amount of flight time with a trainer. Seems like the hobby self-regulated a bit more back then.

Maybe you just bought floating rope? There are a bunch of floating rope products that advertise foam cores.

In my experience it brings minor conveniences: yelling at Google or Alexa to turn on the kitchen lights when your hands are greasy, or dimming the lights with your phone when you're sitting on the couch with a cat on your lap. None of

The systems are messy because the rules, variations, exceptions, etc. that they're attempting to model are also messy. At least that's my experience working on (in part) billing software for an existing, older industry.

These price points are approaching Xbox Series S at $300, which is certainly a better streaming + gaming option.

That's referring to the aggregated listing view that the device provides across many providers. There are still individual apps. The Netflix app (which is what the dedicated button on the remote launches by default) still works. I&#x27

I wouldn't say Google is really "moving" to Go. It's an option, but plenty of projects new and old continue to choose Java.

Correct. That plugin is developed by Google primarily as internal dev tooling, and the version of IntelliJ supported internally is generally not bleeding edge.
