There are some studies out there (too lazy now to go search for any) that mentions that money is related to hapiness up to a point that it can get you out of poverty and make you stop thinking about it.. Then, the relation is mostly none. S

I'm trying to build a 1-person business for quite some time, going back and forth between ideas. Sometimes I think I would like to implement a desktop app, sometimes I feel web apps would be better, sometimes I just want to quit, etc.

I have a similar experience.. The thing is that although many of us can work on one or other part of a complete product, it is pretty hard to focus on everything at the same time and build an entire product alone! For me, I have identified

Lisbon fulfills both your criteria: lots of sun and even kids learn English on the first year at school. I can surely bet that we speak better english than British people will ever speak Portuguese! :)

Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't knew about this before! So I've tried it, the lib is small (~9MB on OS X), it renders pretty fast and has python bindings which is quite great. However it lacks in some areas, such as the scroll

You are correct. The only serious frameworks nowadays are Qt or Electron if you're targeting the cross-platform desktop. There's also wxwidgets, although its python 3 bindings are still being built. Personally, I'm keeping my

I can confirm that the Python dynamic library installed from python.org do not have any reference to LC_VERSION_MIN_MACOSX. So in theory, it would work on any OS X version.. The only catch is that the official binaries are 32/64 bits w

Hum, nice catch! Maybe there is a way to change that LC_VERSION_MIN_MACOSX variable, although the compilation generated instructions may be a dead end. I see two possible solutions, either try to work out from the Python provided binaries (
