Ah yes, it's certainly the fault of the Biden administration. Why hadn't we realized this, it changes everything. Stop it. Be serious.

I can't really agree with the app. Yes, it isn't bad. Wonderful and well made? Not so much. I see this as more of a testament to how bad the rest of the industry is. And I say this as someone who thinks this vehicle sets the basel

Your theory is just not correct, particularly given that Biden and Harris are right-wing politicians.

Weird to see people downplay the significance of the degree of differing political opinions. This isn't a simple matter of disagreeing. I would be willing to bet that every single vehicle company CEO has drastically different takes on

I use clap everywhere for this, but I'm not sure that I agree that it has a "great" experience. It does the job and I've no need to reach for another tool. But it can be frustrating sometimes.

These are not even remotely equivalent scenarios. If I want to remove clap as a library, I just remove it. If I buy an F150 I now have spent a lot of money and it's mostly gone so replacing it is significantly more expensive. It also b

This is an incredible exaggeration. The vast majority of these projects don't even approach it. I use clap in a number of projects and they compile in just seconds.

It's not even close to being a plausible reason when project 2025 states that this needs to happen.

No, we're not a charity. We've just been the ones not paying our share of the bill. We've arranged it such that we have the best deal and we've gotten greedy now, so we are choosing to jeopardize that.

This is the risk we accept when we use something like this. I think it's fine to put it up. If there are security issues, the community of people that use it can respond accordingly.

It always amazes me what things people will latch on to. There are many valid criticisms to be had, but those aren't the focus points of the debates.

This is what drove me to Linux. Managing and fiddling with a windows machine is too time consuming, error prone, and not fun. It's the last thing I want to spend my time doing.

I find that writing anything substantially complex in python sacrifices the development speed. That isn't its strong suit. It's that a lot of people want to write their code in it by preference.

This person is praising Reagan in terms of economics - I wouldn't even call it slightly disingenuous; it is entirely disingenuous. Walter commonly has absurd takes on this site; I wouldn't fight too hard in conversation.
