This is a side projects I started a long time ago (my first JQuery project) and never had time to finish. Also it is far from being complete, I've decided to release it. Let me know what you think of it, any bug or problem. Thanks BTW, I sh

That is exactly the path I took with http://safe.mn/ If the destination is deemed unsafe, you get a warning explaining what is possible wrong (malware, virus, adult content., etc.) + a screen shot (hidden by default) + a link to continue

http://safe.mn/ , for example, is doing checks on both the URL and the content. If the content cannot be scanned (too big, server too slow, local URL), visitors are warned that the link was not checked.

I had the same experience with a big chain open 24 hours a day. Now I pay $15/month (no upfront fee) for a great gym, and there are other around my place for the same price. I don't know how this other chain can still be in business.

That's not news. This is called JsonP, and it requires the server to handle it by creating the right callback function. This is well documented on the JQuery website: http://docs.jquery.com/Ajax/jQuery.getJSON#urldatacallback

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm going to make the small layout changes that were suggested today, and bigger changes in the coming weeks.

For most deals, I don't have the original price. Based on other feedbacks, I should make a column for price, and add the saving when I get it. Something like: $220.00 (save $25)

I'm actually extracting the price alrady (from title or description), and put it first in the title. When I can, I remove it from the rest of the title, but it is not always possible. off course, I cannot do it automatically when the deals

I forgot to mention something: now I need active users to vote and comment on the deals for the website to be more useful. That is the biggest challenge for me right now.

What is great with this program is that you take the bike only when you need it. You don't have to carry it with you all the time. You can combine subway, bus and bike. There are a lot of stations around Paris. You can use the bike one way

Then it is time for you to use a safe URL shortenner: http://safe.mn/ :-) IE, these URLs could lead to a "dangerous" website, but you are warned before reaching the final destination: http://safe.mn/-M http://safe.mn/WP http://safe.

Baidu was indeed helped by the Chinese government. For example, google.com was redirecting to baidu.com ( http://www.therawfeed.com/2007/10/chinese-redirecting-google... for example), Baidu can (could?) also help looking for illegal mp3 (

Also, I find it inconvenient to switch between edit mode and non edit-mode. When the user log in for the first time, it would be nice to have a wizard to easily add one site. it doesn't make sense to have to click on "Enable edit" because I

Latency would be to high for most usage (retrieve a couple of rows a t a time). I would use it as the service is ALL my queries where taking 1 second and more on my own system, and about the same time (or better: less time) from the cloud.

SEO Moz seems to be the most interesting of all them, focusing really on SEO. Others have too many entries on news about Google search, Yahoo deal, etc.

I think the start date, Q4'07 is misleading. I'd like to see the graph since 2005 for example. I believe there was a steep increase of online ad spending in 2006-2008, and this is an adjustment to a "normal" growth rate. Being at the same l
