Are there actual women who fear they can't compete with AI chatbots? In my opinion you wouldn't want to date anybody who prefers a chatbot to a real person.

There are plenty of capitalist societies without any homeless. Maybe it's the inadequate social safety net after all.

Have you ever done taxes in another country? US taxes are not known to be super easy but the sheer ease of filing them compared to filing German taxes completely blew my mind.

This is largely impossible in Germany due to government pay rates being a fraction of what a competent person would earn in industry. There is very little flexibility in this due to equality principles. Sports is an exception, so they could

It does to some degree. There are limits on what cities can dictate you do with your own property though. HOAs seem to have fewer limits on what restrictions they can impose on you.

The concept of HOA is pure evil, not every single instance of it. Even if yours is fine right now, this can change next year when other people move in and take the whole thing over in order to make your life miserable.

HOAs are just pure evil. I don't understand how anybody would voluntarily subject themselves to being terrorized by them. I'm currently renting a house in one and I promised myself to never buy anything in one.

I'm not sure what you are implying. Cost of nuclear power plant projects have been well documented in the past and there are lots of current projects to look at. The initial investment costs, cost overruns and high interest rate enviro

Nuclear is just not competitive anymore if compared to renewables and storage. I'm not saying that this was the primary reason for Germany for shutting down their plants, but keep in mind that they didn't start construction of new

One axis represents the economic and the other the social dimension. No ambiguity about left and right there. It's obviously only a model and people's actual political beliefs have more dimensions.

Yeah, my experience with this was mostly very positive in suburban and rural areas. Even gas stations in LA for example will often not have restrooms at all. Makes it hard to drive through with little kids who don't have great potty br

Maybe it's because I'm in my 30s and not in my 90s, but all good things I've ever seen unions do is from history books. Thanks for that I guess, but no reason to organize in the software industry in 2023.
