It was unpleasent for me to memorise it. Could you elaborate on why it should be a goal to make students calculate solutions to a lot of quadratic equations? It seems to me that training to derive a lot of stuff would enable them to solve m

For me, the most helpful feature of AngularJS is the separation of DOM and data. If you just want to use that feature, but you do not want all the framework stuff, you actually can. Here is my way of doing it: https://github.com&

It seems like the scene might have been built with Unity and was then exported. There is a data file loaded[1] which states its generator is "ThreeExporter.cs" in version 4.0. [1] http://hellorun.helloenjoy.com/ass

You could easily combine the boring idea with something new and shiny (that makes the idea work in real life^^). Like a device giving you electric shocks every 10 minutes to make you remember to change your posture.

Funny story. JSLint[1] does not approve of this technique. I asked Crockford to implement the duplicate check in April 2009 via email. 20 minutes later, out of nowhere, he was done implementing that check and wrote back "Please try it

I use expect all the time. It saves soo much typing. A while back I wrote a short blog post on it with a more advanced example on a debugging workflow with Rails: http://www.chocobrain.com/Terminal-Automation-expect-Advance... (ssh into p

Lets quickly add that all up. Roughly 24 million dollars in total have been raised for crowdfunded games (just the kickstarter projects mentioned in the article). For how long have we been doing that? Is crowdfunding games a 2012 thing?
