Yea, I always thought of PartiQL as a replacement for the overly-complicated DynamoDB SDK (it has 2 different 'versions' and multiple query modes - a low level API and a higher document level).

I have a BS in neurobiology but have been working in software for 20 years. I'd always wanted to get into a more biology-focused software after interning at NIDA (NIH) and saw how bad the software support was. I spent most of interns

The CEO at a previous company went to a Montessori school until middle school. He said he could barely read when he got there. He still had major problems spelling basic words in his late 60s. I guess it didn't hurt him but he was a

I'd like to see an attempt to predict the movement of an NFL defense based on the starting positions of both the offense and defense. Seems like a much harder problem than volleyball, yet is something that human experts can clearly do

If you are saying that the profile photos on dating sites seem a lot less staged, than you are right. Good quality cameras on cell phones were not nearly as ubiquitous in 2010 as they are now. I think it was better back then because you c

If you had a science background, the term "Gold-standard trial" would have meaning to you as a term for randomized double-blind studies with a large sample size. I don't know what textiles have to do with it.

What's up with all these "X uses Rust!" articles recently? Is it that surprising that a memory-safe, low level language with a large community is actually getting used in production?
