I just took the time to watch through the whole video, and it does seem you provide quite a lot of features to handle these complex cases. I still miss the focus on "this is how you solve your problems" versus "this is the features of sprin

Can't you read the output (from the plugin) in the background?

You can use "the UNIX way" and have one process per plugin. Simply create two FIFOs per plugin and have a long-running process connected to those two FIFOs.

I didn't watch the whole video because it completely fails to describe the workflow . What I'm really interested in: how would Sprint.ly solve/represent this workflow: 1. Customer reports a defect 2. Programmer figures out there are two ta

As far as I know, x.y.ODD (e.g. 1.8.5) was never an unstable release. x.ODD.z (e.g. 1.7.1) was unstable up until 1.9 though.

It's not valid JSON (according to the specification) if it's not encoded in UTF-8. Any parser should assume that it's UTF-8 before it starts parsing it; ignoring any other charset settings.

By reading the source you learn how to write a real-life application that uses Redis as its main database.

It seems that people forget what "model" (in MVC) really means. A model (in general) is a simplification of the world . The world is so complex that you can't possibly reason about it at once, so you split it up into smaller models that ar

SASS can be dangerous when it comes to nesting. It's so easy to just keep nesting rules, and before you know it you've coupled your CSS tightly to the structure on one specific page.
