I don't know or care about all the particulars. This feels like pure greed, not some cool strategic play. In other news: this is the first decent thing I've read on TC in six months!

Cool! I'd rather the gov blow money on this than about 100,000 other things.

Watched this guy from afar, he's very talented. Glad to see him doing well. If Sifter adds Beanstalk integration, mark me down for an account.

No use in complaining, this was a cool PR stunt. You don't hear the Washington Generals bitching about the Globetrotters.

I'm sure the tech is great, but damn, how much data am I gonna give G? We need a little more diversity.

That sound you hear is the collective groan from every oversold cheapo shared hosting company owner. Unlimited hosting for 5 bucks? How's world class with a CDN for 45 cents?

Experts Exchange is borderline spam, to put it mildly. They hide the answer at the very end of an enormous scroll (of course after they try to sell you via a pop-up). A reasonable user has no clue that the answer is on the page. When I have

I've been enjoying the uptick of landing page and testing posts, even if if there has been some overlap. I'm a big fan of testing but regularly encounter a problem: not enough traffic. I've sold clients on the idea, only to have the tool sa

Wynn is one of the nicest guys around and is very passionate about OSS. He's the polar opposite of entitled or preachy - he writes, codes, interviews, and speaks regularly. Perhaps his linkbait parody missed....

Reading this now, good stuff. Thank you. Another outstanding beginners reference: DOM Scripting by Jeremy Keith. Clearly explained and encourages good habits.

Naming things is surprisingly difficult - we all have our own mental models. This is an area where pair programming helps. "What should we call this?" Side note: there's a typo in sentence one, paragraph two: "changnig" => "changing"
