I was homeschooled and I credit much of my success in life to it. It taught me to think logically, taught me to honor my parents, taught me the value of tradition, morality, spirituality. It taught me the value of hard work, of loyalty, of

We think so. PWAs can alleviate the need to build 4 separate apps: - Web app - Android app - iOS app - Windows app With PWAs, you can build a Progressive Web App, and publish it everywhere. We recognize that this doesn't work for every

Still different goals there. You add Capacitor's JS runtime to your PWA then use plugins and other Capacitor-based capabilities. PWABuilder's goal is more limited in scope: take your existing PWA, no changes, and publish to app st

I wasn't familiar with your site. Looks really cool, and you support some platforms we don't. Best of luck to your project! Seems Firebase is the way a lot of folks are achieving Push Notifications on iOS.

I'm no expert in Capacitor, but from what I understand, different goals. Capacitor aims to give expose native functionality via runtimes and plugins. A kind of mixed web/native hybrid. PWABuilder's aim is more limited in scop

FWIW, it's the same in Israel. Despite Hebrew and Arabic being right-to-left languages, all coding is done in normal left-to-right Latin (really, English) programming frameworks. As Dalia noted, all major programming languages are left

This is a great project for users from a privacy-first company. I hope it's good for users, and that Mozilla gets significant support from this project.

Check out the "Why" header and several paragraphs. I talk about reasons why I published my own PWA in app stores: some technical, but the big one being that's where the users are.

"Good for users" was in the context of PWAs, not installed PWAs. Clearly the user's expectation is that clearing browsing data will clear data for web apps they navigate to in the browser. Installed PWAs is another question.

Certainly it's true PWAs are subject to the user's desires about browser data. I think that's a good thing for users. PWAs usually store client-side data as a kind of cache: cookies, local storage, service worker cache. Cache
