Nice. Yeah, I've used straight Fluent (Visual Studio + framework) before. The ScriptCS stuff looks very cool.

When I think of automation tests, I think pain. Cumbersome tooling, hackish test frameworks. The HTML5 dev environment, plus some virtual machines to run the tests in, might fix some of the longstanding issues and make automation tests pala

Nice. Microsoft heard complaints that developers had no early access to 8.1, so they reversed their stance and released it to MSDN subscribers.

Interesting. I've often gone to colorschemedesigner.com to generate some base colors, then tweak my Bootstrap template for those. 1pxdeep seems to merge the two. Suggestion: give some good example schemes for each category (e.g. "

Interesting project. I'm uneasy about zero HTML, and instead having most/all the HTML in .coffee. But I'm opened to it. Is this project related to, or draw inspiration from, Reactive Extensions (Rx.NET, Rx.js, Rx.cocoa, etc.)

Additionally, Microsoft was on record saying they believed plugins like Silverlight provided sufficient 3d capabilities, and that WebGL was huge surface area for security vulnerabilities. They've apparently reversed that stance.

Credit to Microsoft for reversing their previous stance on WebGL. Credit to Mozilla for pushing 3d on the web and forcing the issue. Any browser that doesn't implement WebGL will soon be considered crippled; Microsoft desperately wants

From the keynote: "We have paid out $10 billion to developers in the app store, $5b just in the last year" That would suggest a few billion dollars in app store revenue for Apple. That's nothing to spit at. Apple doesn't

That's no longer the case. Apple was interested in HTML5 when it was advantageous to do so. Now, it's in their best interest to have developers build native apps in order to charge 30% of the money made from said apps.

Interesting. Where does the less syntax come in? I'm looking at your signal and observer, and it looks like the same syntax as KO.

KnockoutJS (KO) does essentially the same thing: What KO calls observable, Reactor calls signal. What KO calls computed, Reactor calls observer. The ReactiveExtensions library (including Rx.js) has been doing this thing for several years no
