I don't think it's about built-in support. I believe it's about how JSON maps to common language constructs such as lists and hash tables. XML on the other hand needs to map to a complex tree structure that requires another l

YUI and Alloy actually have a few tools that help you write snappy interfaces. 1) The loader[1]. The ability to load modules on demand help a lot with reducing the initial kweight of your page. The loader supports very easily concatenation

I guess this is a consequence of the development of the LED. LEDs being so efficient allows for very low power sources and a thermocouple seems to be enough to light them. Pretty cool!

Nice! It even works on my FirefoxOS phone, though a bit slower than in Mobile Safari which is weird considering it's using 3d transforms. Maybe it's the frequency in which the deviceorientation event fires?
