I just meant that you need the "[:]-operator" less often because of the new methods removeprefix, not that the thing is completely removed.

At least in Germany research is often done by e.g. Max Planck or Fraunhofer Society. These are public research organizations which are practically part of the universities but their research output is not counted in rankings.

My favorite book is "Python for Data Science For Dummies". It won't help you in a FAANG job interview but in my opinion is super helpful when you just want to get some insights out of data you have on hand.

In your example `is_carbonated` is a private method. In an public interface you would want to hide the implementation details but surely not in a private method.
