Type a lone “> You” in “Story” mode and it will generate an action for you. NovelAI[1] just gives you a big text box to type in, so you don't have to do any input hacks. [1]: https://novelai.net/

It's easy to install unsigned apps on Android, but not being on the Play Store severely limits your reach, since many people only check there for apps instead of searching on the open web.

Looks like it uploads the results to Google Cloud Storage. If you want to stay filterless, I'm not sure if that's the best choice.

An army marches on its stomach. Without a standards organisation to ensure high-quality peanut butter, the nation will slowly fall to ruin!

I found it pretty funny, as if Jogan was making the joke that ‘the Newton was so bad that you must've been on drugs while you made it’.

There are replacements for steamapi.dll that let you play games without needing to have Steam open (e.g. "Goldberg"). These are sometimes called 'Steam Emulators'.

I looked up the story behind the "Bluets and Granola Bars" easter egg. Apparently, the System Error Handler, part of the boot ROM, used to display a popup that said "Welcome to Macintosh" at startup, before the operating

Skype has always had a Linux client. It was a nice Qt app that looked like the old Windows client. Unfortunately, it was replaced with an Electron app in 2017.

Yeees, Bluey is lovely! I refused to watch it at first because of the square dogs, but I'm glad I caved in. Similar articles came out about that show, worth a listen.[1] And really, the Australian pronunciation of "cache" (li

Nah. It's in the Fortiguard category "Newly Observed Domain". So, it hasn't been classified yet, and that person's corporate filter was setup to block those pages.

I really do miss the alliteration-based naming scheme ("attitude adjustment", "barrier breaker", "chaos calmer"...) they had before the LEDE merge.

In Paris, they had machines with a large vertical bar that you could roll to make a selection[1]. I found them much more comfortable to use than the newer(?) machines with a touch screen. [1]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v

I'm not sure if the kana-only view is very useful, since the kanji view already has full yomigana. Maybe have a button to toggle furigana instead?

There's 15.000 computers in the Bitcoin swarm right now, and I bet there's many more that have it downloaded that aren't running the client right now. I doubt the blockchain itself needs an archiving effort any time soon.
