You can “disagree” all day long, but the fact remains your comment demonstrated a clear misunderstanding of how tax incentives work.

I know the Key Foods you are talking about - I used to live nearby it roughly 10 years ago. I can’t believe that it’s still really the only choice. Something is holding back LIC’s development to where it doesn’t seem to be keeping pace wit

I consider myself lucky to have begun my career in earnest at a time just before ORMs became the norm in web development. I wouldn’t say I am an expert, but wow has the sql experience developed early on paid dividends over and over througho

Did you mean constrict? So you feel that an entire generation of humans conspired against the well being of yours deliberately... just because? I think you might want to consider developing a more nuanced and less reductive view of things.

All these concepts are extremely useful in practice. I do not see them in any way as “needlessly” complex. Difficult to learn... maybe, but not just for the hell of it.

There was no notion of a virtual dom in the ie6 era that I can remember. Unless Prototype (the precursor to jquery) used one and I just wasn’t aware of it. I believe the libraries of that time either directly extended the dom or wrapped ind

In Singapore, at least while I was living there, Grab taxi was used to hail actual taxis. Think traditional taxi company, but happens to have a mobile app that (mostly) works well. I guess now that they bought up Uber’s operations it’s a mi

I do not agree that it "has completely different semantics". It has far more in common than not. Its close enough that I, as a long time Ruby developer, had no issues being productive with it in a very short amount of time. The sy
