If you still want to give it a shot, it's great in soups. An easy Chicken Quinoa soup with carrots and celery, and a healthy dose of lime and pepper, is healthy, flavorful and fairly easy to make.

I easily top that, living in central Tokyo. This is including eating out for lunch on weekdays though, which costs at least 10 dollars a day. Fruit and vegetables are more expensive. A decent apple will cost about 1.50 each. 1 metric litre

I found the color scheme easy to read. Using a Dell monitor attached to a mac via DVI though, and calibrated to the best of my ability using the OSX calibration tool.

Indeed. Also imagine what could have come out of this by now had it gone online in the mid 90's. They haven't even gotten the LHC up to full speed yet, but it's already yielding interesting results.

Have you tried gtalk on Chrome? Seems to work everywhere that has an OS Recognized camera and mic. I've talked with people on linux, and windows, from my OS 10.6 machine.
