Awesome! I just finished a project doing beer recommendations, and I wanted to use the RateBeer data but they put up a notice that they were not giving out API access anymore. We went with BreweryDB and were trying to add some ratings ourse

You make a "Drop" with a message, a title, and a future timestamp. Before the reveal time, anyone can see the title. Once the time you specified is reached, the message will be revealed to everyone. Do I understand it correctly?

I'm thinking about making some apps, but one concern I have which I haven't found an answer to and was hoping to find in your post was a discussion about the legal/financial aspect of it. If I make an app, is there any way I

Not sure why they would only want to sell this in the US. This exclusive deal with ATT ruins any chance of this being successful in this age of contract free phones and the cheap Nexus line.

I'm not sure how to articulate it, but I find it immensely interesting that Snowden fled to Russia, while Pavel is fleeing from Russia, both for issues within similar realms.

Wow, the heli-blimp looks like something I would have built in Kerbal Space Program (A game which lets you build spaceships and planes). Its a bad idea, and it looks like they thought adding a lot of cross-beams would make it stable. "

The headline seems misleading, since this was a decision by the EU Court of Justice that said the Dutch would have to stop downloading. The Netherlands themselves didn't ban anything.

I was under the impression that the Nest did work the way you would like— you tell it a temperature and thats it. The only "learning" involved was noticing you were gone and letting the temperature change a bit more, and when you

My issues with this: 1. Whats the goal from the date? Nobody is going to commit to a long term relationship, and I doubt you will convince a guy to leave his job in SF to move to NY from this date. 2. Waste of resources/emissions. Sure
