If you need to motivate them - don't. Just leave your parents alone, your job isn't so important that everyone else needs to learn it too.

Like I said, the open source stuff is a nice bonus. The main testament to Facebook's engineering level is that they're successfully shipping several of the largest scale software products ever to billions of people. And you certai

I get the desire to look down on leetcode or on Facebook generally but do you really think that Facebook would be able to operate at this scale if they didn't have good engineers? They have billions of customers using their products al

Generally I don't care for these lists because the best way to learn something doesn't change depending on your background as much as people think it does. But I do like the list of roughly equivalent tools/frameworks.

It boils down to the same thing though - OP is struggling to focus on a thing for a long period of time because they don't find stuff interesting enough. You can rephrase it to "how do I find something interesting enough to put a

Some of this might be difficult to set up but I don't think that's the reason why people don't use more pretrained models. If you have a working ML environment adding a pretrained model to it is trivial most of the time.

I meant the former (easy, fast, works well very often) but you could do either. If you decide to tune the whole thing, the training cost, time and complexity grow by a lot, and of course you're destroying a lot of information that exis

Yep, for so many NLP and vision tasks it makes sense to use a pretrained model as a preprocessing step and train a couple of dense layers with your own dataset on top of it.

You're asking for more than just evidence though, you're asking for concrete proof which is very different. You can have evidence that changes your belief - people acting suspiciously their behaviour being consistent with cheating
