I think i was an involuntary early adopter of this process, my experience was that the ID upload kept failing and then broke the connection to my linkedin and facebook accounts. Support wasn't able to help, beyond suggesting I make a video.

I tried to make it clear in my original post that I took many pictures of my drivers license, but the submission process kept failing with non-informative error messages. I suspect part of it is that Colorado drivers licenses have some visu

People are happy to let me into their home so far based on my current profile. I've complied with every form of verification requested. I'm happy with all of that. I don't understand how "make a video" is the solution to some technical prob

thanks for sharing, the 11 hour countdown with no hope of fixing it seems to be a standard move. Perhaps getting us to make videos is the real purpose of this fiendish system?

wow, thanks for posting this! Very impressive resource. I was trying to speak more to the general challenge of learning this sort of OO system (I pretty much learned class based views by reading the code already), but I'm happy that you sha

Interesting, I'm guessing the Manhattan market functions differently than PDX. My limited experience is that using the "% responded" and "time to responded" metrics they give for hosts, you can get a feeling for which listings are dead vs.

I am fairly fluent with django class based views and tastypie, but i can't help but feel this sort of OO design has a painful learning curve. you basically need to dig through the stack of classes, mixins, etc pretty comprehensively to get

Would you then recommend focusing development around some unit tests and eval-ing them as you do work? (that's what I am trying so far, seems ok)

I'm interested in writing a simple rest API using compojure as a learning exercise. Can anyone experienced give an outline of what a reasonable workflow would be to do this using light table? I see that light table can "connect" to my proje

To both the django-rest-framework advocates: thanks for the recommendation, will check it out. I got deep in the guts of tastypie and wasn't happy with the way it handles patching and nested objects in particular. For my kiosk project, as a
