I frequently wonder how ParrotVM will be affecting people's decisions when it comes to choosing high-level languages in the future.

I wish they would just firebomb the poppy fields and get it over with. What would be wrong with that? They've been saying they would for years but always decide to 'wait a little longer' and never do anything.

An estimated 1 in 150 American children has some form of autism. There's no known cure. I'm a little insulted that people still consider it a disease. It's like saying people that don't like a particular food have a disease because most

I think that's just a different mentality. You're both right. The grandparent is thinking "Every application should do one thing really really well, and everyone should have a bunch of applications". You're thinking "Every application shoul

I wish there were more merge extensions in git. For instance, I would very much like an extension that merged bitmap images in a fine-grained manner, such that I could specify if it's okay to merge two sets of changes or just select the lat

Nothing's "wrong" with people think it's fair value. It's just that some people think 2000 dollars for a laptop is inexpensive. I'm just saying that Apple charges quite a premium on their products.
