Not really. Where they recovered the 10% memory was by keeping shared state shared, and reducing the amount of memory that was copied into each process. With something like Django, there's quite a big startup tax you have to pay, so at

Yup, this is what finally got me to make the switch. There are a few things that aren't the same like alt-click for column selection (alt+shift+click instead), but it certainly made the transition easier. Keyboard commands are actually

But do they verify photos against claims? I'm certain they don't here in Australia (at least not 100%), because .. others .. have done this very thing when they were younger.

I guess I'd prefer to see this in wages and similar. Rather than increasing wages with respect to inflation, they've stagnated, and profits for companies, shareholders, and owners are much higher. > The problem comes in actuall

Isn't trickle down economics supposed to redistribute portions of that wealth? If you agree that trickle down isn't working because the elite are capturing it for themselves, then you could conclude that them being rich is a con

The link upthread mentions this. You ask for the photo. If the photo doesn't answer the question you can say you don't know, and ask for further evidence.

The photographs literally don't matter. As long as the form has a name on it, and the fine is paid, it's not like they're going to look at the photo and do a match against the identified driver.

I'm not trying to justify insurance company profits. I think it's mostly a load of crap. But the costs of a grocery store are pretty much fixed and easy to predict. The costs for an insurance company are far more complex, beca
