Hoping that future drought events don't have a massive impact on forests. The 2018 drought in Germany already induced some heat and drought stress on trees. If the trees die, they will not take up 20% more CO2.

Not sure what you are talking about. To me it looks like you can just DL and install 9.0 or 10.0 community release. Am I missing something? https://www.zimbra.com/product/download/zimbra-collaboration...

This could be very interesting material for surfaces in greenhouses where you want to have as much light as possible but during the summer don't want to have the heating effect.

Still would love to see some graphs of the populations and maybe also nitrogen.

Also I find this YT channel very helpful, the video about substractive synthesis is probably a good starting point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfJ9Dbjz6cs

I found this video very helpful, since it avoids a lot of the music theory lingo, but at the same time explains the basics very well (while cutting some corners...): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoeHDN2FVTc

Just FYI: you can do that too with a VST fork of VCVRack called Cardinal: https://github.com/DISTRHO/Cardinal

Its all nice and dandy and I really appreciate that development of Thunderbird has awoken from its hiatus, but I really really wish they would fix the Maildir storage and make it standards compatible, so that one can use other mail tools li

Mostly Youtube. There are some good channels about gear, like Loopop, BoBeats, Gabe Miller. I spent too much time there. Regarding making music I got more out of Andrew Huang, Red Means Recording, Adam Neely, David Bennett and Underdog Elec

Some random advice in no particular order. * Music production on the PC can be really cheap, almost for free, but it can be really overwhelming and hard to figure out where to start. * The hardware synth (dawless) route can be a deep rabbit

Usually I have hard to solve ground loop noise issues with my Raspberry Pi based synths when used in combinaton with other synths. So while this is for sure a nice project, with all due respect and kudos, for those really only interested i

With very few exceptions there are two semesters per year at the Universities. I only know of the Bundeswehr University (German military university) that is organised in trimesters. Edit: fixed typo

As a counterpoint to your sentiment: I am really glad Zotero devs are not spending any time on polishing the UX. I loathe modern user interfaces where a lot of functionality is hidden just for the looks. Zotero does cover your use case very

Using and liking it also. It is just that I need it so rarely that I fall back into the RPN that I'm used to from Emacs calc. Speedcrunch does not have a RPN mode, does it? That would be splendid.

I'm using Emacs in a floating window under I3wm that I can toggle into the scrap buffer and back with a key binding. Doing the same with one terminal. This inspiration for this also came from the console in Quake.

By the authors of Sqlite. High quality code that is probably going to be around and well maintained for long. Not unimportant when using it as a personal knowledge system.
