Did you catch the part where it crossed over into a crypto pump-and-dump scam, with Yegge's approval? And then the guy behind the "Ralph" vibe coding thing endorsed the same scam, despite being a former crypto critic who shou

This still reads as "you're using it wrong" to me. Nadella's position is that AI spending would easily justify itself if only the plebs would use it as much as he thinks they should. If only the common man could see the

They're playing stupid semantic games in order to claim there's no selling fees while still having selling fees. The fees were ostensibly shifted onto the buyer, except they're bundled into the sale price and cut from what th

Pay attention to the compatibility list though. If you use the Cloth™ on an iPhone 4 or earlier then you're in uncharted territory, who knows what could happen.

The Windows version is an escape hatch for keying in any arbitrary character code, hence why it's so convoluted. You need to know which code you're after.

The console vendors are deathly allergic to GPL code and won't touch it with a ten foot pole, so even if the Xbox does move away from NT there's almost no chance of it moving to Linux. They'd sooner use a BSD like Sony does,

In real terms dark modes have gotten darker too, at least on mobile, due to the proliferation of OLEDs with infinite contrast. #000000 went from "the darkest grey the display can manage" to "no light whatsoever".

For better or worse the push down to 47-day certificates is an industry-wide thing, in a few years no provider will issue certificates for longer than that. Nobody is being forced to use 6-day certs for domains though, when the time comes L

I don't really see the value in ECH for self-hosted sites regardless. It works for Cloudflare and similar because they have millions of unrelated domains behind their IP addresses, so connecting to their IPs reveals essentially nothing
