“Quite the contrary. Jefferson called this the “natural aristocracy” — an elite based not on wealth or birth, but on virtue and talent” - Jefferson was a guy who based on the wealth he was born into owned humans born into that role. Let the

Not surprising that the omni-shambles which is WBD (Warner Bros Discovery) continues to hemorrhage any remaining goodwill with the creative community. There is a mandate there to get short term cash flow up to service all the accumulated ac

Apple stopped any significant innovation on the iPad platform many years ago. It is an also-ran cash cow for them not anything worthy of investment. I say this as someone who was once enthralled with the platform and it is sad. It’s hilario

The market makers do understand why they are trading and understand it has nothing to do with fundamental value. That may be your reason for trading. They are there to rapidly and correctly assess short term supply and demand so they can ex

Two years into the sport and I’ve never had a close concussion call or seen anything close. Heads could hang into each other on a crowded mat I suppose but that risk is darn low if you are paying attention.

It’s interesting to me how much of the hostility to this drug has a moral dimension. I am quite fit for my middle age. It’s a relative superpower which confers a degree of status in this world. It’s not why I originally became fit 5 or so y

The code insertion part is interesting. I could see it being the hook to finally get my 12/13 year old daughters to play with code a bit.

Amazing how much emotion a physical retrocomputing experience to our youthful days can be. Emulators are neat but they don’t trigger the physical sensation of the keyboard, the sounds, hell the smells. Like nibbling a madeleine for some of

I think that's the case but wonder what the process is for something coming off the GRAS list. Could cause a big headache for a bunch of companies like Whole Earth Brands who have a lot of capital tied up in Erythritol.
